Our Team

Neal Ailstock

Neal Ailstock has been the owner and operator of Seatco since 1976. In 1970, at age 20, he started work for the previous Seatco owners by sweeping the floors and driving cars to and from dealerships. In 1976, hard work and fortune paid off and he was able to buy the company.

Neal considers himself blessed. He works in an industry he’s passionate about and he and continues to be able to restore cars with some of the original employees. With no intentions of ever retiring, Neal and his team have been serving the automotive community for thirty-eight years and counting.

Elias Mejia

Elias has over 11 years of experience in auto interiors, specializing in upholstery. He has over 18 years experience total in automotive repair. Originally from Guatemala, Elias says he likes doing everything in the shop, but his first and current love is repairing and restoring seats, door panels and carpets.

He likes working on any of the cars the clients bring in (there is always something different rolling in, he says), but is also looking forward to getting his own project in the near future – something of his own that he can work his magic on, and enjoy after completion.

Paul Collier

Paul has been doing auto upholstery since 1963. No, that’s not a misprint. Over 50 years of experience in auto interiors.

Over thirteen of those years have been in the service of Seatco. Paul was born and raised in Vienna, VA and still resides locally.

As you can imagine, there just isn’t much that Paul doesn’t know about if it involves the inside of a car. He’s an invaluable resource when older cars come in with a particular fabric type or a special fastening system, etc.

He also does a considerable amount of customer estimates, part ordering, and more for Seatco.

Paul is currently working on a 1963 1/2 Ford Falcon Coupe as a personal project car – should be beautiful when it’s completed.

Miguel Lopez

Miguel has been repairing upholstery for 23 years; with the last six years devoted to the repair of automotive upholstery at Seatco. He is an upholstery specialist, devoting almost 100% of every day to repairing and restoring our customer’s seats, headliners, door panels, etc.

Originally from Guatemala, Miguel resides in the Northern Virginia area with his wife and two daughters. He’s both a cyclist himself and an avid cycling fan.

Brian Whitacre

Brian has been working with cars for 15 years and has been working with auto upholstery for over 10 of those years. His specialty is custom dye work.

Brian is a Northern Virginia native and loves everything the area has to offer. On his days off, you can often find him on a soccer pitch, or, in front of a screen cheering on his favorite professional sports team.
